Following the Sept. 6 debut of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius on the small screen, THQ Inc. and Nickelodeon announce the release of Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron for PC. A Game Boy Advance version is scheduled to ship Sept. 24.
Now available at retailers nationwide, Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron for PC has the brainy 10-year-old inventor warped into an alternate dimension while his nemesis, Jimmy Negatron, replaces him in the real world. The player must help Jimmy Neutron escape Jimmy Negatron’s bizarre dimension using strategy, technology, logic and inventions. Environments include Jimmy’s neighborhood, lab and house, the Candy Bar, Negatron’s underwater lab, Retroville’s Museum of Science and Industry, Evil Vox’s virtual reality, and the Flurp Factory.
All new gadgets include the Plasma launcher, a mini submarine, a virtual reality tank, the virtual reality mech and the Goddard hover scooter. Also included is a playable demo of SpongeBob SquarePants: Employee of the Month for PC.
In addition to the current Burger King promotion, THQ is launching a multi-million-dollar television and print ad campaign in November to support the release of all Jimmy Neutron titles. Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius for PlayStation 2 and GameCube arrive later this fall.
