The boys are getting out of their "summer in the cul-de-sac" frame of mind in the new half-hour holiday special, Ed, Edd n Eddy’s Jingle, Jingle, Jangle, scheduled to air on Cartoon Network on Friday, Dec. 3 at 8 p.m.
This first Ed, Edd n Eddy holiday special finds Eddy in despair when he finds his presents in the attic, and they all turn out to be lousy. When Edd and Ed try to tell him about the true meaning of Christmas, Eddy refuses to listen and comes up with a scheme to get adopted into somebody’s else’s family with cool gifts!
Created by toon rebel Danny Antonucci at aka Cartoons in Vancouver, Ed, Edd n Eddy has been a popular staple of the Cartoon Network lineup since it premiered on January 4, 1999. The cabler recently announced that it greenlit 26 additional episodes and two 30-minute holiday specials for Valentine’s Day and Halloween to air in 2005. By the way, in case you still can’t tell the boys apart after all these years, remember that Ed is the tall gullible one, Edd is the smart, polite dude, and Eddy is the schemer and unofficial leader of the team!
