Jan Nagel Tapped to Represent Agogo in U.S.

Steven Ching, CEO of Agogo Hong Kong, announced the selection of Jan Nagel, marketing consultant and president of Women In Animation International, to represent Agogo and its Animation Services in the U.S.

The addition of Nagel to its ranks was an effort to expand Agogo’s representation for its services and properties to the states. “For the past 15 years we have concentrated on serving the animation communities in Europe and Canada,” says Ching, who established Animation Services Hong Kong in 1990. “We felt it was time to have representation in the American market.”

Agogo is a comprehensive animation producer that develops and distributes TV animation series, and licenses cartoon properties for the international market. With more than 40 titles in its library, Agogo and its Animation Services HK division have been involved in more than 1,200 half hours of television productions and more than 250 half-hours in co-production participation.

In her new position, Nagel will be responsible for representing Agogo properties such as Cone Control, Pet Pals, Bouncymation and Coco Bill, as well as other programs for distribution in North America.

Among the new toons AGOGO will be bringing to the NATPE market next week are Pet Pals, a (26 X 15) series about six wild animals who make a worldwide trip from Australia to Venice, Coco Bill, a (104 X 15) western parody based on the comic-books by Jacovitti, and Cone Control, a 55 X 15 series exploring the relationship between cars and street cones!
