Tatiana Kober, owner of production and distribution company Bejuba! Ent., announced that her team will join forces with Oscar-winning producers Alison Snowden and David Fine of Snowden Fine Ltd. to produce a new animated children’s show titled Ricky Sprocket, Showbiz Boy.
Aimed at kids 6-12, Ricky Sprocket, Showbiz Boy serves up the life and times of a huge child movie star who enjoys the perks of the lavish world that every kid dreams about. Ricky has fame and fortune, but he still has to contend with tons of homework and an annoying sister.
This latest project from Bejuba! Ent. will be produced at Snowden Fines new home base in Vancouver, Canada.
Tatiana Kober established Bejuba! Entertainment in 2003 with the mission of bringing production partners together and closing gap financing. The company currently distributes for German broadcaster ZDFE, Tandem Films and Cut-Out Animation.
Alison Snowden and David Fine won an Oscar for their animated short film Bobs Birthday, which inspired their acclaimed series, Bob & Margaret. The crafty couple has also received BAFTA nominations, Canadian Genie awards and two additional Oscar noms for their short films.
