Spanish toon house BRB Internacional recently made key announcements at MIPCOM about three of its hottest series, The Invisible Man, Iron Kid and Bernard.
BRBs The Invisible Man, a 26×26 series chronicling the trials and tribulations of young scientist Alan Crystal, is set for an Oct. 22 premiere on Frances M6. The antics of Alan, who becomes invisible after a lab accident, have attracted multiple co-producers and broadcasters to the show. Antefilm/MoonScoop, RAI and SMEC are all production partners on The Invisible Man, which is broadcast on Disney France, Antena 3, M6 and networks in Turkey, the Middle East and Latin America.
Manga Entertainment just hopped on board as a production partner for Iron Kid, and will be handling TV and video sales and merchandising for the property in North America and Australia with BRB remaining the distributor for Latin America and Europe. The 3D animated adventure series about a boy fighting for world peace will air for the first time next summer.
Cartoon Network (USA), M6 (France) and KIKA (Germany) have all picked up Bernard for broadcast at the end of this year. BRBs travel-happy 3D polar bear series arrived at MIPCOM this year with hi-def episodes available, and will soon be airing in Italy, Russia, Holland, Canada, Australia, Wales, Iceland, Ukraine and across Asia and Latin America.
