Adobe’s New Production Studio Powers Up Workflow

Tech-heads rejoice: San Jose-based Adobe Systems Inc. unveils its brand new extension of its Creative Suite family of products, the Adobe Production Studio, today. Billed as the most complete post software solution available, Adobe Production Studio offers full new versions of Adobe’s video and graphics applications’Adobe After Effects 7.0, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe Audition 2.0, Adobe Encore 2.0 and the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator CS2. Included in this new package are time-saving additions such as the Adobe Dynamic Link which offers a very efficient workflow set-up. Animators are likely to jump on the bandwagon because the Production Studio also integrates Flash Video (FLV) export capabilities to deliver content to the Web.

The system benefits from the universal scope of the Adobe Portable Document format known as PDF, and clients can actually review footage on Adobe Premiere Pro projects faster using the Adobe Clip Notes. High-fidelity support for OpenGL 2.0 in After Effects speeds production time, and the new animation presets allow users to create professional-level animation with only a few clicks on the keyboard.

Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio for Microsoft Windows XP is available both as a standalone product and as part of the Adobe Video Bundle at the Adobe Store at www.adobe.com/store. A Standard version is also available, offering Adobe After Effects Standard, Premiere Pro and Photoshop with Dynamic Link.
