Full Sail Swims with particleIllusion

Students at Orlando, Florida-based Full Sail school will be able to learn the ins and outs of wondertouch’s award-winning particleIllusion software program beginning this semester. Full Sail will incorporate wondertouch software into its new Digital Arts & Design Bachelor of Science Degree Program.

The new degree program at Full Sail is designed to offer a complete digital education and features additional courses, training labs and a new digital arts studio. Students are trained on a wide variety of industry standard software packages by professional instructors with experience in the field. particleIllusion will be used to train students in 3D art and animation, digital video production, digital publishing, web design, motion graphics and art creation for games.

“We are excited about the launch of our new B.S. program and consider the addition of wondertouch particleIllusion fundamental to the curriculum’s future success,” says Bill Galbreath, Full Sail Digital Arts and Design program director. “It is important that all our courses tie together and access to this standalone software application will allow students to add a professional polish that will help them create stunning effects such as smoke, fire, explosions and sparks to projects throughout the Digital Arts and Design Program.”

“wondertouch is committed to education and thrilled that particleIllusion will play an integral role in the launch of the first Full Sail B.S. program in Digital Arts and Design,” says Alan Lorence, wondertouch president.
