Clone Wars Marathon Going Online

All ten episodes of Lucasfilm Animaton’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars that have already aired on Cartoon Network will be available online over the holidays. Starting Dec. 22, the installments will be found on Starwars.com and CartoonNetwork.com, which will also feature video commentary by supervising director Dave Filoni on each episode, a web comic and a detailed episode guide containing concept art and additional insights into the hit show. The online marathon will end on Monday, Jan. 5.

StarWars.com is also serving up three exclusive online games. In Sharpshooter, players can partake in clone training as they try to hit targets that range from holograms of battle droids to rolling destroyer droids. Live Fire is a keyboard-based game in which players take on the role of a clone trooper, customizing his gear and unlocking exclusive Clone Wars content while battling the droid army. Finally, Clones vs. Droids offers the option of playing live against another player or practicing solo. Squads of droids and clone troopers are pitted against each other, and it’s up to players to strategically prepare for both attack and defense during the game’s 10 rounds.

Fans will also be able to catch Cartoon Network’s encore showings of Clone Wars adventures starting Dec. 22 and continuing throughout the end of the month. The first new episode, ‘Dooku Captured,’ will then premiere on Friday, Jan. 2 at 9 p.m.
