Imagi Studios have released five images from their upcoming CG-animated feature, Astro Boy.
The movie also was previewed last weekend at New York Comic Con, where a short was shown and earned positive praise.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that Imagi is still trying to get on track. The Animation Guild blog reports executives with the company are saying that funds to restart the studio are forthcoming, promising back pay owed to employees and that it will meet its financial commitments to guild members and personal service contracts.
Directed by David Bowers (Flushed Away), Astro Boy is due for release October 23.
