The Australian-produced short-form animated series Dukes of Broxstonia has been given the go-ahead for a second season.
Sticky Pictures is producing the series, which follows teenage bandmates Arj, Barj and Larj from the fictional country of Broxstonia as they tour the world — and beyond.
The series is commissioned by the Australian Broadcasting Corp., with Cartoon Network having broadcast rights for the Asia Pacific region.
“Sticky Pictures is super-excited to be producing a second series of the Dukes of Broxstonia. In series 1 we saw crazed alien fans, giant lice, jealous superheroes and gooey ear wax clones. We can’t wait to see what the Dukes get up to in series 2!” says Donna Andrews, executive producer, Sticky Pictures.
The series was created by writer Stu Connolly and director/designer Suren Perera.
