Italian production company Grupo Alcuni has reported broadcast rights sales for its recently debuted eco-friendly animated show Galileo and the hit series Slash://.
Galileo is a green co-production with RAI Fiction and DQ Entertainment. Its 13 13-minute episodes are now airing on RAI 2 in Italy and soon will air on RTP in Portugal.
Galileo is a hybrid of live action and animation that seeks to inspires young viewers to learn about crucial issues such as global warming, pollution, recycling and alternative energy sources.
Meanwhile, Slash://’s 26 20-minute shows have been acquired by Al Jazeera for the MENA region and by Klub 100 for Russia and the Baltic states.
