MTV Supersizes ‘Beavis and Butt-head,’ and ‘Good Vibes’

MTV has scheduled a special two-hour animation block, with new back-to-back episodes of Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., followed by two new episodes of Good Vibes airing at a special time, at 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. this Thursday (Dec. 1). A hit with male viewers, Beavis and Butt-Head is MTV’s No. 2 show of 2011 among males, 12 to 34, second to Jersey Shore, and ranks as Thursday’s #1 cable program in its time period among the same age group.

On Thursday night’s episode of Beavis and Butt-Head airing at 10:00 p.m a rat takes up residence in Beavis and Butt-Head’s kitchen, and the duo try to get eco-friendly with the granola girls who are concerned about an oil spill. In the bonus episode airing at 10:30 p.m., Beavis and Butt-Head get left behind by the apocalypse and become the last men on Earth! A religious group also encourages them to take a stand against a science lesson in the second part of the show.

On this week’s new episode of Good Vibes at 11:00 p.m., Mondo takes a “Polar Bear Plunge” racing through freezing water but afterwards accidentally drops trou and humiliates himself. In the night’s second original episode airing at 11:30 p.m., Jeena launches a mobile breast exam initiative, spurring Mondo and Woodie to cross dress in an attempt to feel some lady-parts consequence free.
