Comedy Central’s Comic-Con Plans

Those crazy kids at Comedy Central have some cool events planned for toon fans at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego. Learn more about hit series Futurama and upcoming toon Brickleberry. CC will also be heavily promoting live-action comedy series Workaholics, with a signing (4:30) and panel (6:30) on Thursday, July 12 and Happy Hour event at the Hard Rock Hotel’s FLOAT bar from 2-5 on Friday, July 13.

Get a sneak peek at the channel’s newest toon from creators/exec producers Waco O’Guin and Roger Black and EP/voice star Daniel Tosh. The 2D-animated series is a co-pro of CC and Fox 21 and follows a group of dysfunctional park rangers and will premier September 25 at 10:30 p.m. after Tosh.0.

Voice cast including David Herman (Office Space), Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Jerry Minor (Anchorman) join O’Guin and Black to discuss the show and screen an entire episode for panel attendees.
