Toiling away on a toon project? The organizers of the Annecy International Animated Film Market (MIFA) invite you to submit it for the Creative Focus event, being held June 11-14 of 2013 during the Annecy festival (June 10-15). The Creative Focus program includes in-progress project presentations to potential funders and partners, writer/creative recruiting by international studios and meetings presented by animation experts.
Registration is open as of November 5, 2012 and final paperwork must be submitted before January 15, 2013. Projects can be short film, feature film, TV series, special or cross media formats. If your project is selected, you will receive follow up and assistance from the Festival team and animation experts Dominique Poussier (project development advisor, DP Consulting) and Jean-Paul Commin (producer, Les Armateurs) to prepare your presentation. You also earn free Mifa accreditation, the chance to present your project to funders and partners and the chance to receive funding through one of the festival prizes.
