Nickelodeon’s CG revamp series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles returns to the network with a “Total Turtle Takeover” on Friday, January 25 at 7 p.m. ET/PT with the premiere of the all new episode “I, Monster.” In their newest adventure, the Turtles face-off against a new enemy, The Rat King, who threatens not only to take control of the city, but Master Splinter’s mind as well. The “Takeover” night will continue with encore episodes until 9 p.m.. New episode premieres will continue in the regular Saturdays at 11 a.m. timeslot beginning Saturday, February 2.

2013 is going to be a crazy year for the Turtles, who since stepping out of the sewer last year have had to face mutants, aliens and a vengeful ninja army. The situation worsens as they discover more details of the Kraang’s alien agenda, plus they meet a new foe named Karai, a female teenage ninja in the service of Shredder. The conflicts escalate into a major showdown against creatures they could never have imagined—and the fate of the world hands in the balance.
Viewers can also click on to Nick.com to play the newest game of the week, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Foot Clan Clash. Players can select which Turtle to play as to get through three levels facing Foot Clan Soldiers in order to fight against Spider Bytez. Additionally, the series will make its DVD debut on Feb. 26 with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rise of the Turtles (Paramount, $14.99).
