Toei Animation will debut the new chapters of its popular animated shows Saint Seiya Ω (Omega) and Driland at MIPCOM 2013, it was announced by Hiroyuki Kinoshita, President and CEO of Toei Animation Enterprises.
The latest chapter of Saint Seiya Ω (Omega) begins with earth goddess Athena being troubled by a series of dreams depicting a coming war. Fearing the dreams are a prophecy of things to come, she sends the Saints on a quest to determine the truth of her visions. What they find is a terrible, new enemy – one who will stop at nothing to destroy Athena and eradicate the Saints once and for all.
Driland returns by bringing back Power of Darkness hunter Gohdo, whose power was once sealed away by Princess Davina. On a quest for vengeance against those who imprisoned him, he unleashes a plan to rule the world and defeat Driland, Hagan and their friends once and for all!
“International audiences asked for new episodes and we’re happy to deliver with the introduction of Saint Seiya Ω (Omega) and Driland‘s second seasons,” said Kinoshita. “Already pop culture stand-outs in Japan, these new chapters will delight current fans and bring new ones on board.”
