Framestore Heats Up Toaster Strudel Campaign

Framestore’s new LA studio, teamed up with Saatchi & Saatchi NY, has crafted a series of whimsical commercials and an online short for Pillsbury’s Toaster Strudel breakfast treats. The “Hans Strudel” campaign was created by Saatchi’s executive creative director Patrick Clarke, and Framestore’s Ben West directed the spots.

The quirky spots relaunch the Toaster Strudel brand with stand-out imagery and new catchphrases. The Framestore team was tasked with creating everything from a yodeling goat to flying strudels, skipping woodland critters and outlandish facial hair to accompany the morning-obsessed villagers of Breakfurg, the mythical home of Hans Strudel—a daybreak hero who brings order to the drowsy chaos of the morning routine.
