PBS KIDS has announced families now have new ways to stream the tot-friendly programming on more platforms as PBS KIDS launches on Apple TV and the PBS KIDS Video App debuts on Android and Chromecast. Increasing streaming options helps further the company’s goal of giving more families the ability to access programming from its top-rated educational media brand.
PBS KIDS programs are now available directly on Apple TV — users can access episodes and clips from favorite shows like Curious George, Peg + Cat, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Wild Kratts and Sesame Street, with thousands of videos and new content update weekly.
The PBS KIDS Video App is now available for Android devices, and is compatible with Chromecast, making it the first kids’ offering through the service. The App has been extremely popular since launching for iOS in 2011 and provides free access to PBS KIDS series as well as helpful tools for parents.
