The dudes are back in town — Oooooooh! Yep, ultimate slackers Mordecai and Rigby have kept just busy enough to ensure the triumphant season six return of JG Quintel’s Regular Show, which will launch on Cartoon Network on Thursday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT. The pop culture references and fist pumping moments will be taken to the next level, and the best buddies are taking Benson, Pops, Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, Skips, Thomas, Margaret and Eileen along for the ride. Oh, and sometimes Death.
At the end of season five, Mordecai (voiced by Quintel) and CJ (Linda Cardellini) went on an epic “real date” that ended in death-defying explosions, and a smooch. Season six will see their relationship continue and the premiere episode “Maxin’ and Relaxin'” will find Mordecai taking her to meet his embarrassing parents (voiced by Katey Sagal and Ed Begley Jr.) The annual “Terror Tales” Halloween special also promises to be extra spooky this year. Expect twists, turns, surprises, many a half-hour special and — gulp — a wedding!
I can’t wait for the new episodes. I was worried when I heard a rumor that the show was cancelled. We love this show in our house. Oh and…What??!! A wedding? lol
