Disney TV Animation celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special celebratory event hosted by ASIFA at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank.
The at-capacity event — filled within an hour of the announcement being posted on the D23 and ASIFA websites — featured a special panel discussion with the animation studio’s award-winning creative talent:
• Bill Farmer (Disney Legend, voice of Goofy)
• Paul Rudish (executive producer Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts)
• Jymn Magon (writer, DuckTales, Darkwing Duck)
• Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (co-creators and executive producers, Phineas and Ferb)
• Rob LaDuca (executive producer, Jake and the Never Land Pirates; storyboard artist, The Adventures of the Gummi Bears)
• Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle (co-creators, executive producers and writers, Kim Possible).
The panel was moderated by D23’s Jeffrey Epstein and included sneak-peeks of the animation studio’s highly anticipated upcoming series.

Eric Coleman, senior VP original series for Disney Television Animation, presented a first look at upcoming series Star vs. The Forces of Evil and Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, both of which are slated to premiere on Disney XD in early 2015, as well as an advance look at an upcoming episode of the Emmy Award-winning Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts.
Emily Hart, VP original programming for Disney Junior, shared a first look at early animation for Disney Junior’s The Lion Guard.
I wish Disney Television Animation will have official Facebook Page, official Twitter page, official YouTube channel, official Google+ page and a fully computer animated Disney Television Animation production logo like Walt Disney Pictures’ current fully computer animated logo.

I wish Disney Television Animation will have animated television series-based, computer animated theathrical feature film called “Gravity Falls: Quest for Hidden Secrets”. It will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures, DisneyToon Studios and Disney Television Animation to compete Nickelodeon Studios’ SpongeBob: Sponge Out of Water.
I also wish DisneyToon Studios will make a 3D computer animated theatrical feature film based on “Phineas and Ferb” animated television series. It will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures, DisneyToon Studios and DIsney Televison Animation. It will be rated G by MPAA. It will be released in theathers at early 2016. It will be released in 3D, RealD 3D ans IMAX 3D with Dolby Atmos.
I also wish DisneyToon Studios will make a 3D computer-animated theatrical feature film based on “Future-Worm!” television series by Ryan Quincy. It will be released in theathers in 2017 in 3D. In addition, the “Gravity Falls” theathrical CG animated sequel will be released in theathers in 2018 in 3D.
I wish DisneyToon Studios will produce a low-budget computer animated theatrical feature film called “Gravity Falls: Quest for Hidden Secrets”. It will be based on the television series, “Gravity Falls” by Alex Hirsch. It will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures, DisneyToon Studios and Disney Television Animation. It will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It will be released in 3D and RealD 3D with Dolby Atmos in late 2015. It will be rated PG by MPAA. It must compete Nickelodeon Studios’ “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water”.
Congrats to all the writers, animators, voice actors and producers who continue to entertain generations. Making a mark in our childhood, showing us great worlds and teachingus meaningful lessons.
From Ducktales, to House of Mouse, to Gravity Falls. You mean alot to us and to our children.

I wish “Pickle and Peanut” will be rated TV-Y7 and TV-PG to compete Annoying Orange. It will air on DIsney Channel (via Disney XD on Disney Channel) and Disney XD. I wish “Pickle and Peanut” will also air on ABC Family.
I also wish Disney Television Animation will release the new animated series, “Billy Dilley” in late 2015. I wish it will have cold opens in every episode and TV-PG rating. I wish the television series must set in Brooklyn, New York City, New York.
I wish Star vs. The Forces of Evil will be rated TV-Y7 and TV-PG. I wish the animated television series will have mature-themed as Cartoon Network’s TV-PG animated series and Nickelodeon’s “The Legend of Korra” did. I hope the three upcoming animated television series will have to compete Cartoon Network’s TV-PG animated series (such as Adventure Time, Uncle Grandpa and Steven Universe). I wish Star vs. The Forces of Evil’s future second season will be fully TV-PG rated.
Shame they didn’t include artists. Nothing against the producers or writer but It’s not like these were radio broadcasts. In some cases, series were created 100% by teams made up of only artists. For some reason D23 seems to ignore that.
