Bazillion Pictures, under the guidance of owner and creative director Jeff Beith, has restructured its award-winning 3D animation and visual effects studio as part of an effort to introduce its services to more areas. The reorganization of the Kansas City facility includes improved workflow and asset management and integrated services like in-house compositing, editing, color correction, finishing, interactive development and audio capabilities.
The 5,000 square foot boutique in the Crossroads Art District is home to over a dozen custom animation/graphics workstations, four Unity Interactive workstations, dedicated editing and audio suites and an isolation room for recording voice-overs, sound effects and instruments. The studio primarily uses 3DS Max, V-Ray, After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop along with their on-site render farm and high speed data servers.
