Mimic Productions, most well known for its high-end facial animation services, has added to its repertoire by introducing body motion capture to its clients with a new high-fidelity OptiTrack Motion-Capture system in its studio in Berlin. Comprised of several wide-angle, high-speed Prime 17W cameras, the system is capable of capturing up to 160 fps at a 1.7MP resolution and real-time streaming.
The new mo-cap facility means that Mimic’s studio, located in a large historical building in the German metropolis, can provide services from planning to shooting through final animation clean-up.
