‘Simpsons’ Wins WGA Award for ‘Brick Like Me’

There was only one award for animation at the WGA Awards this weekend, and it followed the odds and went to The Simpsons.

The beloved and long-running Fox animated series earned four out of six nominations in the TV animation category, with the other two nominees going to episodes of another Fox series, Bob’s Burgers.

In the end, the episode “Brick Like Me,” written by Brian Kelley, took home the gold in the ceremony, which was held Saturday night in a bi-coastal ceremony originating from the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles and the Edison Ballroom in New York.
