Disney’s Big Hero 6 has become the top-grossing animated feature of 2014, edging out DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2 in worldwide box office haul.
Big Hero 6 passed the $400 million mark at the international box office, bringing its worldwide cumulative gross to $632 million, passing the $618 million mark set by Dragon 2.
The movie just opened two weeks ago in China, where it’s done strong business and surpassed Frozen as Disney’s top-grossing animated feature.
Globally, Big Hero 6 is now the third-highest grossing feature ever from Walt Disney Animation Studios, behind only Frozen and The Lion King.
