Cooley to Co-Direct ‘Toy Story 4’

Josh Cooley will be co-director on Toy Story 4 with John Lasseter, Pixar confirmed via Twitter.

Cooley joined Pixar as an intern in the story department for Cars, and most recently was head of story on Inside Out, due in theaters June 19.

He also is the creator of the children’s-book parody Movies R Fun!: A Collection of Cinematic Classics for the Pre-(Film) School Cinephile, which depicts violent scenes from classic movies in children’s book style.

Toy Story 4 is due for release June 16, 2017, and will feature a screenplay by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack from a story by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich.
