PGS Entertainment has inked a bundle of media licensing agreements for the Playmobil-inspired animated series Super 4 from Method Animation and Morgen Studios (commissioned by France Televisions) that will bring the series to European and Asian markets including Spain (Canal Panda), Flemish-speaking Belgium (VRT), Eastern Europe (MiniMax), Thailand (Thai TV3) and Malaysia (NTV7).
Super 4 (52 x 11) is a CG animated comedy/adventure aimed at kids 5-9 which follows Alex the Knight, Ruby the Pirate, Agent Gene and Twinkle the Fairy as they travel in their multi-transformable Chameleon vehicle through five extraordinary islands: Technopolis, Kingsland, Enchanted Island, Gunpowder Island and a Lost World.
Created by Jessie Cleverly and Romain Van Liemt, Super 4 marks the first time the 40-year-old toy brand has been adapted for television.
