9 Story Media Group has entered into an agreement with Beijing Sunshine Culture and Communication Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese media company. The deal gives Sunshine all rights within the territory to award-winning preschool series Peg + Cat (80 x 11) and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (130 x 11). Both animated shows are co-productions with The Fred Rogers Company for PBS Kids.
“Sunshine is committed to developing overseas markets in order to import excellent programs into China,” said Xu Leilei, CEO for Sunshine Culture and Communication. “It’s very pleased to enter into a content partnership with 9 Story based on such high quality animation. We’ll make every effort to promote such excellent programs to the Chinese audience.”
