We are excited to bring the poor, unfortunate souls who weren’t able to cram into Disney XD’s Wander Over Yonder panel at Comic-Con International today this first look at the upcoming season two. Presented at the panel, which was moderated by series composer Andy Bean and featured Craig McCracken and stars Jack McBrayer, April Winchell, Tom Kenny and Fred Tatasciore, the season two Sizzle Reel offers a first glimpse at Jon Hamm and Noel Well’s characters joining the cast.
The second season of the Annie-winning animated comedy will debut Monday, August 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD. In their new adventures, Wander and his quick-tempered steed Sylvia will encounter a new villain, Lord Dominator — a formidable rival who threatens Lord Hater’s existence as the Greatest in the Galaxy. The half-hour season premiere “The Greater Hater” marks Dominator’s arrival, which turns Wander’s optimistic worldview upside down. This will be the first of a four-part story arc, which includes a musical episode written by composer Andy Bean.
In addition to Mad Men star Jon Hamm and SNL’s Noel Wells, other notable guest stars this season include “Weird Al” Yankovic, June Squibb (Nebraska), Sabrina Carpenter (Girl Meets World), Rob Riggle (Modern Family), Ken Marino (Children’s Hospital), Andy Daly (Modern Family) and Calum Worthy (Austin & Ally).
In advance of the new season, 11 one-minute Wander shorts will debut July 20 on Disney XD, WATCH Disney XD and the XD YouTube channel, rolling out daily Monday through Friday up to the season premiere.

Best. Trailer. EVER! XD
And it’s not even in color XD
… well, 97% of it is not 😛
This cartoon is so good and funny, it would make the people who are keeping Spongebob Squarepants running think to themselves, “What are we doing?”
Whilst the Internet seems to being going nuts for Stars Wars and Danger Mouse, I’m probably more interested in seeing this over all of them. But then again, anything that is funny, drawn well, and doesn’t take itself too seriously is always going to be worth a watch in my book.
Wow….just…wow
Wow looks awesome, but I’m disappointed in one thing, as soon as I saw the new villain I predicted it was going to be an unoriginal “hurr it’s a giirrrll?!” joke, but I never imagined they’ll spoil it at once. I guess old lazy writing habits die hard, but I don’t blame them…
