The Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is seeking submissions for its 23rd edition, scheduled to take place April 26 to May 1, 2016. Filmmakers are invited to enter their works for the categories of “International Competition,” “Young Animation,” “Tricks for Kids” and “AniMovie” by December 1, 2015 through www.itfs.de.
ITFS offers a professional platform for filmmakers, directors and production companies to present their films to a large audience as well as industry players. The six-day event will offer the best in international animated shorts and features, including in its scope a wide variety of current productions in the animation realm including intersections with art, architecture, games and design.
2015 ITFS award winners included The Sense of Touch by Jean-Charles Mbotti Malolo (Grand Prix, International Competition), My Milk Cup Cow by Yantong Zhu (Young Animation), Beyond Beyond by Esben Toft Jacobsen (AniMovie), Snow by Antoine Lanciaux & Sophie Roze (Tricks for Kids – Short) and Cleo by Ana Sanchez-Gijon (Tricks for Kids – Series).
