October is going to be a good month for Naruto fans. In addition to the home entertainment release of The Last: Naruto the Movie, the little ninja that could will be appearing in cinemas across the U.S. and Canada in his latest feature adventure, Boruto: Naruto the Movie, thanks to VIZ Media.

The Last: Naruto the Movie will be available at top retailers as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack ($29.99 / $37.48 CAN) or standard DVD ($19.98 / $24.98 CAN) editions, starting October 6. The Last is the final story of Naruto as he has been known. Set two years after the fateful battle between Naruto and Sasuke at the end of the manga series, the movie begins as the village is at peace, and Naruto and his friends are now elite young warriors — but a mysterious and dangerous stranger appears and warns of an apocalyptic doom.

On October 10, Naruto’s birthday, 52 cities across North America will welcome subtitled theatrical screenings of Boruto: Naruto the Movie thanks to VIZ and Eleven Arts. In this latest feature, Naruto is now Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. Boruto, his troublesome son, resents his father’s responsibilities that take his time and attention away. Sasuke, now with a family of his own, takes Boruto under his wing, while his only daughter, Sarada, dreams of being Hokage one day. Meanwhile, the new Chunin Exams are threatened by evil lurking around the corner.
