France’s Wild Bunch plans to launch its animated Playmobil feature at the Toronto International Film Festival.
According to reports, Wild Bunch is in advanced negotiations with a U.S. based studio for domestic distribution for the $80 million project.
The movie is being produced by On Entertainment’s Dimitri Rassam and Anton Soumache and is based on the popular toy line. Directing the movie is Bob Persichetti, who will reportedly be at Toronto to present the project to buyers.
The movie is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2017.
