German brand management company m4e has inked a deal with Discovery Networks Latin America/US Hispanic that will bring the new CG-animated preschool series Wissper to television audiences in Latin America. The deal grants the broadcaster exclusive Pay-TV and basic subscription TV rights for the territories, where Wissper will launch on the 24-hour Discovery Kids channel in 2016.
Wissper is a 52-episode series (26 due by the end of 2015, the rest by next spring( which follows the adventures of the titular young girl who has a special knack for communicating with animals, allowing her to understand and help solve their problems. The series is created by London’s Absolutely Cuckoo (Waybuloo) in co-production with m4e AG, Telegael (Ireland), Discreet Art Productions (India) and BASTEI Media GmbH (Germany). Worldwide distribution is handled by m4e.
