It’s December, which means it’s time for the awards to start rolling out and, so far, it’s looking good for Pixar’s Inside Out.
The animated feature was named the best animated feature by both the National Board of Review and the New York Film Critics Circle.
Inside Out was the only animated feature mentioned in the NYFCC announcement, while the broader NBR entries also included the movie in its list of the year’s 10 best films.
The NBR also surprised pundits by choosing Mad Max: Fury Road as the year’s best film.
