9 Story Media Group has licensed three of its hit animated kids shows to different U.K. broadcasters, ahead of its planned attendance at the 2016 MIPTV market.
Turner Broadcasting’s Cartoonito UK picked up season 1 of award-winning preschool series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (52 x 11). The show airs in over 150 countries and has recently been greenlit for a third season, which will bring the series episode total to 170.

CITV acquired season 2 of animated comedy Nerds and Monsters (40 x 11) — the first season premiered on the channel in April 2014. Other key broadcast partners for the show include ABC Australia, YTV and Vrak TV (Canada), Canal+ (France, Africa), TVE (Spain), Gloob (Brazil), Noga (Israel), e-Junior and MBC Kids (Middle East), Disney (Poland), SIC (Portugal) and Hulu (US).

Finally, Sony Pictures Television’s Kix channel snagged season 1 of animated comedy Numb Chucks (52 x 11). Now in its second season, the martial arts-inspired toon has also been licensed to YTV, Boomerang (US), Cartoon Network (LatAm), ABC, TG4 (Ireland), Canal+ Family (France), Super RTL (Germany), and Disney (CEE, Asia, Middle East & Africa, Israel, Benelux).
