Euro producer/distributor Mondo TV is bringing some of its biggest new titles to DISCOP Africa 2016, the continent’s premiere TV and online content industry gathering (Nov. 2-4 in Johannesburg). CG kids’ series Robot Trains and Mondo TV’s first-ever live-action teen series Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa will lead the company’s portfolio.
Available to view at Screening Stand #S77 will be the first episode of Robot Trains. The new 32 x 11 HD CG children’s series sees regular trains become spectacular robot heroes. The coming-of-age story follows Kay, the fastest train in Train World, who with his friends strive to save their beloved town. Aimed at kids 3-6, the series is produced in collaboration with South Korea’s largest media group, CJ E&M, and currently is a huge success in Korea.
Mondo TV is also bringing a variety of established animated titles and recent productions, including YooHoo & Friends, Cuby Zoo, Nutri Ventures, Adventures in Duckport, Playtime Buddies, Puppy in My Pocket, Beast Keeper, Cat Leopold and Treasure Island. All these series have been dubbed into a number of languages, and are available for all TV rights and digital media rights (including VOD, SVOD, IPTV and mobile TB platforms worldwide).
