Dearest readers,
It’s been an incredible year — in both positive and at times negative senses of the word. Over the course of 2016, we’ve been awed by the growth of feature and TV toons, visual effects, virtual reality and all the myriad ways that the business, technology and art of animation continues to puzzle, delight and amaze people all over the world.
And it’s been exhausting! (Just kidding, you know we love it.)
But, we are taking a break to mark the winter holidays and the transition into a new year. We hope (and expect) that 2017 will be an even shinier pinpoint on the animation & VFX history timeline. And we know many of you are already hard at work to make that bright vision a reality.
So, from our Animag family to yours, we wish you warm, joyous celebrations, the mildest possible hangover on January 1, and an animated New Year filled with health, happiness and inspiration.
