At this week’s Comic-Con in San Diego, eigoMANGA will be showcasing a way to juice up comic-book publishing with its new mobile virtual reality app, ComX VR, at booth #4531 from July 20-23. Demo stations will provide visitors with a fully-immersive reading experience, while the eigoMANGA crew offers exclusive giveaways and signings by its creative team.
ComX VR is an upcoming mobile app for Android and iPhone using Google VR development framework. It really brings comics readers into their favorite stories, completely immersing them in a 360-degree environment rather than restricting them to the resolution of a mobile device. Currently in development, the app will be available soon.
eigoMANGA will also be hosting a “Manga Tutorial for Kids” workshop on Sunday, July 23 at 2 p.m. in room 11. Moderated by eigoMANGA’s team of manga artists and animators, the tutorial introduces kids of all ages to manga illustration and storytelling.
