Writer Aron Dunn Adapting ‘me!Humanity’ for Animation

The powerful personalities of me!Humanity, a popular design property launched in Uruguay, are looking to win over international audiences through animation, with the help of Canadian writer Aron Dunn (Camp Lakebottom, The Travels of Young Marco Polo). Created by Sebastian Cubas, Agustina Roig and Silvina Hipogroso, the me!Humanity characters reflect the range of personalities, moods, professions and quirks that make the world rich and well-rounded.

With positive messages such as “Difficult Roads Often Lead to Beautiful Destinations,” “Strength Lies in Differences” and “Inhale the Future, Exhale the Past,” me!Humanity tries to represent a harmonious society in which one can exist peacefully with others, and one’s self. The characters and their world are fertile ground for animation and licensing worldwide.

The creative collaborators were brought together by consulting and licensing group The ThinkTank Emporium.

“I am thrilled to be working with Agustina Roig and their team to bring me!Humanity to a new audience via the creation of animated content that will be shown on platforms globally,” said Dunn. “I look forward to presenting me!Humanity at the upcoming markets and to the media communities at large.”

“I am delighted to be embarking on a new chapter in the development of me!Humanity by working with Aron. I’m convinced my brand has a very wide appeal. It easily adapts across all borders and languages,” said Sebastian Cubas.
