BES Inks Digital Deal in China for ‘Kitty Is Not a Cat’

Award-winning Australian studio BES Animation has secured a new partnership with UniCreative Internet Company to distribute hit kids’ series Kitty Is Not a Cat across all major digital platforms in mainland China. The nation’s leading entertainment content distributor, UniCreative will lead the expansion strategy for Kitty, targeting major VOD websites including Tencent Video, iQiyi and Youku, as well as IPTV, cable, digital TV, OTT and mobile platforms.

The multi-year deal licenses all 52 x 12’ episodes of the series.

Kitty Is Not a Cat premiered on the Seven Network in Australia in May and has since sold to nearly 65 territories and been translated into 25 languages.
