Fandom-focused video platform VRV (from Ellation) is welcoming premium subscription streaming service Boomerang as its newest channel partner, launching Tuesday, November 13.
The Boomerang VRV channel will offer subscribers a robust library of cartoon classics from the Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes and MGM libraries — more than 3,200 titles and 27 complete series. These include iconic properties and characters such as Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry, The Jetsons, The Flintstones and Bugs Bunny, as well as new originals like Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, Wacky Races, Bunnicula, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and more. Boomerang also recently announced new Monchhichi and Care Bears series coming in 2019.
The channel partnership launches in time for Boomerang to debut the newly remastered Garfield and Friends series and its Thanksgiving Boom Movie Feast, featuring Garfield: His 9 Lives, Garfield’s Fun Fest, Garfield Gets Real, Jonny’s Golden Quest, Jonny Quest and the Cyber Insects, Yogi and the Invasion of the Space Bear, The Man Called Flintstone, and Top Cat and Beverly Hills Cat.
Boomerang, which also offers a full Spanish-language experience to fans, adds to VRV’s well-rounded animation offerings across its channels already including NickSplat, Cartoon Hangover, Crunchyroll and more.
