As NATPE is underway in Miami, Nat Geo Kids Latin America has revealed the first official artwork for its original animated series Pilar, based on the story created by Brazilian author Flávia Lins e Silva which has won over young readers in Brazil and most of the region.
Pilar is a girl who loves traveling and dreams about knowing all the countries in the world. With the help of her magic hammock and accompanied by her best friend Breno and her cat Samba, Pilar travels the world looking for new knowledge: she visits the Machu Picchu, meets Zeus in Greece, journeys to China, and always looks forward to her next trip!
Building on the books by Flávia Lins e Silva, Pilar has broad potential for the development of licenses and franchises of consumer products for children. Mono Studio manages the audiovisual production in Brazil. The series is set to premiere in 2020 across all Nat Geo Kids’ platforms in Latin America.
