Breakthrough Entertainment has made an addition to their experienced executive team with the appointment of Aliy Brown as a new Sales Executive. Brown joins Breakthrough from 108 Media Corp., an international distribution company where she started as the Director of Distribution and Marketing. While there, she facilitated all VOD sales and distribution within North America as well as internationally.

A graduate of Durham College for Music Business Management, Brown started her career with Kaleidoscope Entertainment Inc. as a Production Coordinator for multiple lifestyle series, advancing to Director of Sales for Canada. In tandem with working for KEI, Aliy served under multiple departments of The Fremantle Corporation where she advanced from Executive Assistant to Sales Executive, servicing Latin America and worldwide digital sales.
For Breakthrough, Brown will manage a number of markets including Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa, as well as handling acquisitions for both television and film content across all genres.
