Exclusive Clip: ‘Star Trek: Prodigy’ Crew Gets into Mind-Swap Misadventure in Next Episode

This week, Paramount+ subscribers can tune in for a walk on the wild sci-fi side in the brand-new episode of Star Trek: Prodigy.

Premiering Thursday, December 15, “Mindwalk” (Ep. 118) sees the crew of plucky alien misfits taking desperate experimental measures to warn Starfleet of their dilemma, and miscalculating themselves into an accidental mind swap between Dal and a Starfleet Vice Admiral.

Animation Magazine has beamed up an exclusive sneak peek clip in which Rok-Tahk (voicd by Rylee Alazraqui) explains to “Dal” (Brett Gray) how the mishap occurred, and the crew schemes a dangerous plan to recreate the accident and reverse the swap — good thing a nice stroll through a warp bubble is basically Tuesday to a Starfleet officer! The clip also featuries Murf (played by Dee Bradley Baker) and Fugitive Zero (Angus Imrie).

The CG-animated Star Trek: Prodigy is the first Star Trek series aimed at younger audiences, and follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered — a first in the history of the Star Trek franchise — but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

The interstellar voice cast also features  Jason Mantzoukas as Jankom Pog, Ella Purnell as Gwyn and Star Trek veteran Kate Mulgrew reprising her role as Captain Janeway.

Developed by Emmy winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters, Ninjago), the show is produced by CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, Nickelodeon Animation, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.

Prodigy is now streaming exclusively on Paramount) in the U.S., LatAm, Australia, S. Korea and U.K., coming soon to Italy, GAS and France, and international Nickelodeon channels.
