Peacock announced today that the sparkly all-star family reunion of Trolls Band Together — the latest in DreamWorks Animation’s blockbuster musical franchise — will be available to stream exclusively on the platform starting March 15. This third Trolls film will also be available to watch in Sing-Along mode.
Synopsis: As Poppy (Anna Kendrick) grows closer to her now boyfriend Branch (Justin Timberlake), she discovers his secret past as a member of her favorite boy band, BroZone, with his four estranged brothers. When Branch’s bro Floyd is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of nefarious popstars, Branch and Poppy embark on an action-packed journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd. Along the way, Poppy uncovers a family secret of her own, a long-lost sister named Viva (Camila Cabello).
Directed by Walt Dohrn, co-directed by Tim Heitz, written by Elizabeth Tippet and produced by Gina Shay, Trolls Band Together also features the voices of Eric André, Amy Schumer, Andrew Rannells, Troye Sivan, Daveed Diggs, Kid Cudi, Zosia Mamet, Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, RuPaul Charles, Aino Jawo, Caroline Hjelt, Kenan Thompson, Anderson .Paak, Kunal Nayyar and Ron Funches.
Trolls Band Together is the latest addition to Peacock’s film collection including Universal Picture’s record-breaking global phenomenon Oppenheimer; Focus Features’ The Holdovers, winner of two Golden Globe® Awards and nominated for five Academy Awards® including Best Picture and Best Actor; Blumhouse’s blockbuster Five Nights at Freddy’s, the highest-grossing horror film of 2023; and The Exorcist: Believer.
