The Barkers: Mind the Cats, the new feature-length adventure based on the educational animated series The Barkers, is ready to bring the crafty canine home. Lionsgate will be releasing the CG family film on demand and through digital retailers on April 30.
Synopsis: Meet the Barkers, a family of talking, dancing, trouble-making dogs! When the five Barker pups stay with Grandpa for the summer, poor Kid can’t find anyone to play with: his sisters are starstruck and lovestruck, and inventor Alex is making a jet pack so Max can become a social-media star. When two naughty cats decide to steal the jet pack, they play nice with lonely Kid and the other Barkers as they plot their caper. Your family will be thrilled when you bring home these playful pooches!
The movie features the voices of Courtney Shaw (Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy), Wayne Grayson (Pokémon), Jessica Paquet (Pokémon), Tom Wayland (Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood), Erica Schroeder (One Piece), Samantha Cooper (Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese), Laurie Hymes (Caillou’s New Adventures) and Mike Pollock (Pokémon).
Produced by CTB Film Company and Melnitsa Animation Studio, the 2020 movie is directed by Elena Galdobina (Little Tiaras), produced by Aleksandr Boyarskiy and Sergey Selyanov, with music by Boyarskiy and Georgiy Zheryakov.
