Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 opens in theaters nationwide in just 10 days, inviting moviegoers inside the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as Headquarters undergoes a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions. The voice cast features a mix of returning stars and newcomers, including Amy Poehler as Joy, Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Liza Lapira as Disgust, Tony Hale as Fear, Lewis Black as Anger, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Ayo Edebiri as Envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui, Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment, Kensington Tallman as Riley, Lilimar as Val Ortiz, Grace Lu as Grace, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green as Bree, Diane Lane as Riley’s mom, Kyle MacLachlan as Riley’s dad and Yvette Nicole Brown as Coach Roberts.
Inside Out 2 is directed by Kelsey Mann, produced by Mark Nielsen and executive produced by Pete Docter, Jonas Rivera and Dan Scanlon. The film features a screenplay by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein and story by Mann and LeFauve, with music by Andrea Datzman.
