‘Transformers One’ Sets Star-Studded Panel for Comic-Con

The fully-animated next chapter in the Cybertron saga is revving up for San Diego Comic-Con, where Paramount Animation and Hasbro Entertainment will present a panel on Transformers One full of exclusive first-looks and insights from its galaxy of voice stars. The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 25 at 11:45 a.m. in Hall H.

The pic has already sparked a lot of buzz, and drew raves from its Work-in-Progress session at Annecy Festival last month.

On stage for the presentation will be Chris Hemsworth (voice of Optimus Pax), Brian Tyree Henry (D-16), Keegan-Michael Key (B-127); Oscar-winning director Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Attendees will receive an exclusive poster for the film, the first animated Transformers theatrical outing in nearly 40 years and its first-ever CG movie.

Synopsis: Transformers One is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.

The voice cast also features Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.

Transformers One will arrive in theaters on September 20.
