Exclusive Clips: ‘Everybody Still Hates Chris’ Premieres New Episode Featuring Ayo Edibiri

In tonight’s (Wednesday, October 16) new episode of Everybody Still Hates Chris on Comedy Central, viewers will be blasted back to the past as an obstacle course of ’80s trends shakes things up in Bed-Stuy! The ep premieres at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

In “Everybody Still Hates Breakdancing” (ep. 107), Chris, Drew and Greg start a breakdancing club to get out of gym class, but Greg soon tests the limits of Chris’ friendship. Meanwhile Tonya wants to wear grown up clothes, and the guys at the barbershop try to cure Julius’ “butt blindness.”

Animation Magazine is catching the rad retro wave with two exclusive clips ahead of the episode premiere, including a look at Ayo Edibiri as Tonya’s friend, Roxanne. The Bear star is one of dozens of exciting guest stars lined up for Season 1 (read more here). Watch the clips below!

Returning to the world of Chris Rock’s Emmy-nominated sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, which ran from 2005-2009, Everybody Still Hates Chris brings to animated life stories inspired by the star comedian’s experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s.

The series cast features returning stars Chris Rock (narrating as Adult Chris), Terry Crews (Chris’s dad, Julius) and Tichina Arnold (mom, Rochelle) alongside Tim Johnson Jr. (Young Chris), Ozioma Akagha (younger sister, Tonya), Terrence Little Gardenhigh (older brother, Drew) and Gunnar Sizemore (best friend, Greg).

The series is produced by CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ animation arm, with animation by Titmouse.

Everybody Hates Chris premiered Sept. 25 and airs new episodes every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
