Photos: Top Industry Creatives Shine at the 2024 Edition of World Animation Summit

It’s a wrap! Animation Magazine hosted another successful edition of the World Animation Summit at The Garland hotel in N. Hollywood this past week (Nov. 3-6). The 12th edition of the  star-studded event brought together some of the most talented creatives of the animation industry for four days of keynotes, panels and networking parties.

The 2024 Hall of Fame awards gala kicked off the event on Sunday night. You can read about the awards ceremony, the winners and their presenters here.

The Summit featured many inspiring panels, creative keynotes and presentations covering different creative and professional aspects of the business, from A.I. and adult animation, to preschool animation, how to balance artistic passions with professional demands, shows based on game titles, as well as panels featuring the directors of some of the biggest animated movies of the year, and a focus on some of the acclaimed animated shorts of the year.

Check out some of the photo highlights from this year’s edition below.

A huge thanks to event director Kim Derevlany who made everything run so smoothly after many, many weeks of hard work and very long days, and all our amazing volunteers and industry sponsors that made this event possible.
