Organizers of the Sundance Film Festival have announced the prestigious competition’s short film selection for 2025, which includes a dedicated Animated Short Film program presenting eight titles. Sundance runs January 23 – February 2, 2025 in person in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as online.
The animated shorts selection is:
- Flower Show by Elli Vuorinen (Finland)
- Inkwo for When the Starving Return by Amanda Strong (Canada)
- Luz Diabla by Gervasio Canda, Paula Boffo & Patricio Plaza (Argentina/Canada)
- Caries by Aline Höchli (Switzerland)
- Field Recording by Quinne Larsen (U.S.)
- Como si la tierra se las hubiera tragado by Natalia León (France)
- Paradise Man (ii) by Jordan Michael Blake (U.S.)
- Hurikán by Jan Saska (Czechia)
